Shake Project Relocates Specification to New URL, Enhances Documentation and Repository Structure for Better Performance

We’ve relocated the specification to spec.shakelang.com. The previous URL, shakelang.com/specification, now redirects to the new location. We’ve transitioned to a separate repository and individual docusaurus instance for the specification, enhancing both our overview and structure. Our intent is to provide a significantly more detailed specification.

In addition to identifying the language, we’re also crafting specifications for the packages we’ve constructed as components of the Shake project. This encompasses our parseutils, common-io, primitives, shason, and several additional utility packages. Recognizing their potential value to other initiatives, we’ve elected to generate specifications and tutorials for these components.

Currently, we have specifications only for the shason package, but we intend to expand this in the future.

In the course of this restructuring, we relocated the shake project’s dokka documentation to an independent repository and subdomain.

The Dokka documentation is now accessible at dokka.shakelang.com. Please note that shakelang.com/dokka will automatically redirect you to the updated URL.

These restructuring efforts aim to achieve manageable repositories and enhance build performance.

We trust you will appreciate the updated specifications, accompanied by our refined Dokka documentation. For any inquiries, kindly utilize our discord server.
